All-Day Workshop
An exciting, creative and fun-filled
workshop designed for everyone who conducts story programs for children--toddler
through kindergarten. This program will be valuable for both the novice or
the seasoned veteran.
At this workshop, participants
will:

learn new fingerplays, songs &
activities

discuss the basic elements of a
program and the value of audience participation

get a list of sure-fire storytime
books & have the opportunity to share their own favorites

get a list of resources for finding
crafts and participation activities

get tips on making and telling
participation stories

get reacquainted with some traditional
fingerplays and songs
-
evaluate questions to consider when
planning a program
-
find ideas to perk up their programs
& get energized
